5 Warning Signs Your Body is Giving About Your Liver

The liver is one of the hardest working organs we have, working tirelessly to keep us healthy.
The toxins in our bodies are filtered out by the liver. It acts like a purification system.
But there is a limit to what the liver can handle.
These are five subtle warning signs that your liver urgently needs your help.
1. Itching
An itchy skin can have a variety of causes, but the most surprising is that it likely indicates liver problems.
If your liver is damaged, bile builds up in the bloodstream. When your bile duct is blocked, the bile accumulates and flows back into the bloodstream. This buildup under your skin causes itching, according to Health 24.
2. Abdominal pain/constipation
If you feel bloated after eating, it may be because your liver is enlarging due to the various fats it cannot process. If this happens frequently, it is a sign that the liver is having problems and is overloaded.

3. You often feel tired
The liver helps detoxify your body and provides energy. So when your liver is not healthy, liver function decreases.
If you have a bad liver, your blood may be overloaded with toxic substances. This reduces brain function and can lead to concentration problems.
We all feel tired at times, but if you often feel tired, you should consult a doctor.
4. You have gained weight
Having sweets occasionally, as well as alcohol and fried foods, is fine. But what if we consume too much of it?
With a healthy liver, it works extra to process the toxins in the body. But when our liver struggles, our body cannot process the food or fats properly.
This leads to extra weight and a heavy, sluggish feeling.

5. You bruise or bleed easily
If you find that you bruise easily or bleed easily from minor injuries, this may be a sign that your liver is not strong enough. An unhealthy liver means the proteins needed to keep your blood healthy are no longer produced sufficiently.
