When her arthritis worsened, her daughter Michelle intervened and suggested she try her transformation program, according to the British newspaper The Sun.

“It changed my self-esteem; people in the gym approached me and complimented me on the change they saw in me,” Joan told The Sun.

“I feel so much better about myself now and getting compliments from younger men and women boosts my confidence. My husband started noticing how good I looked, and my family was so proud of my efforts.”

Joan, from Ontario, Canada, goes to the gym four times a week and has completely changed her daily eating habits.

In just one year, she now weighs a healthy 140 pounds and is happier than ever.

More than 100,000 followers

“At first, I was pretty overwhelmed because everything was online and I had to get an iPhone and learn all about apps. I was sometimes in tears, ready to give up, but luckily, I was too stubborn,” she said.

“I followed a meal plan set by Michelle with ‘X’ amount of calories; mainly proteins, carbohydrates, and good fats, and as my weight and inches decreased, my food intake increased.”

Joan now has more than 100,000 followers who are all inspired by her incredible journey.

Joan’s health has improved, and she no longer needs to take medications.

She can even lift 198 pounds, just under the weight she started at.
