It has become common nowadays to hide our age as if it is something to be ashamed of. And then there are those people who suggest that you can be too old for something, implying that we reach an age where we are too old for fun things in life.
Well, someone breaking through this is a beautiful lady named Dorothy Williams, who has a great lesson for all of us at the age of 90.
She appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and surprised everyone with her act. By the end of her amazing performance, she had won everyone over and received a reaction that left her in awe.
Sense of humor
Dorothy, originally from Hawaii, wanted to show that she could dance and have fun despite her age!
On stage, in front of Simon Cowell, the rest of the judges, and a full crowd, she gets ready to perform. Then the song “The Stripper,” originally composed by David Rose and his orchestra, starts to play and the whole crowd is amazed.
But Dorothy starts her striptease with confidence and surprises everyone. Despite the reaction, she wins everyone over with her amazing self-respect and sense of humor.
While Simon covers his eyes and Mel B looks shocked, Dorothy continues to show off her amazing dance!
Golden buzzer
After everyone had gotten over their shock and nervous laughter, Dorothy’s dance made the audience go wild, they loved her dance routine.
Simon and fellow judge Heidi Klum give her a standing ovation and host Nick Cannon arrives on stage to deliver her surprising news.
Since the judges had already used their golden buzzers, he decided that Dorothy still deserved it and he would press the buzzer himself!
She gets a golden glitter shower as the audience claps and cheers for this inspiring woman.
