Perplexed about aiding the animal, the family contacted the authorities, which led Police Officer Kevin Zieschang to the scene. He promptly arrived and successfully assisted Buck in removing the debris stuck between his antlers.
Despite Kevin’s attempts to guide Buck back to the woods, the deer felt a sense of safety with the family and lingered in the yard before eventually returning to the forest, free from debris in his antlers.
