Receiving reports of a white dog abandoned on a pile of garbage in Los Angeles, United States, animal rights activist Eldad Hagar from Hope for Paws was shocked by the dire condition of the dog he found.
Miley, a husky, was suffering from mange, severe open wounds, and extreme malnourishment, unable to even lift her head to eat the food offered by Eldad.

Eldad managed to secure Miley with a collar and took her to safety, where she received necessary medical treatment and care.
“She knew she was saved,” Eldad shared in a YouTube video recounting the rescue.
During her recovery, Miley found a new purpose in caring for a scared chihuahua, forming a heartwarming bond with her new companion.

Fully recovering from her ailments, Miley’s once damaged fur regrew, and she was eventually adopted into a loving home.

Reflecting on Miley’s transformation, Eldad expressed his satisfaction, “To see Miley make so much progress… a dog that was dying on a garbage dump, and now living in one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen in my life, it’s magnificent.”
“She becomes more beautiful every day,” he added.
Witnessing Miley’s journey from a helpless state to a thriving life is truly touching. Let’s honor the dedicated animal rescuers who provide these animals with a second chance at life.
