The two cubs seeking shelter from the men were left alone in the freezing cold.

“The men walked past a bear’s den and thought it would be a fun idea to wake the mother bear up. They didn’t succeed at first, but when the mother woke up later, she started defending herself,” a source told Daily Mail.
