Kindhearted Animal Lover Saves Dehydrated Koala – Koala’s Heartwarming ‘Thank You’ Gesture Will Melt Your Heart

We continue to spread news about the bushfires in Australia simply because the tragedy is still ongoing. And the end is not yet in sight.

Fortunately, more and more positive stories are emerging about people rescuing animals.

The fires have claimed the lives of people, but also countless animals.

In New South Wales alone, more than half a billion animals perished. But there is still hope.

Despite the ongoing loss of wildlife, many animal lovers and volunteers are working tirelessly to save as much fauna and flora as they can.

A video that recently surfaced on the internet proves this. It is currently the most viewed video in the past few days.

The video shows a man giving water to a wild koala. The koala seems to appreciate this gesture. After quenching his thirst, the koala reaches out his paw to the man’s hand, which he then holds.

It’s as if the koala wants to say ‘thank you.’ The animal may be one of the survivors of the wildfires. He was certainly very thirsty, but also grateful.

However, veterinarian Michael Paine finds this action risky.

“They can inhale water into their lungs, and in the worst case, they can even die from water from bottles. It’s better to give them water from a bowl,” he told Daily Mail.

The man may not have been aware of this, but the video remains beautiful to watch. Both the man and the koala found happiness in it.
