Interestingly, it’s a hobby shared not only by Meghan but also by King Charles, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla – beekeeping. Reflecting on this shared interest, Meghan remarks in the Netflix series, ‘We really started from nothing. There were bees, but not in the hive. It’s amazing to see how it has flourished.’
The beekeeping trend is not localized to Montecito; it extends overseas as well. Both Kate, Charles, and Camilla maintain multiple beehives at their residences, viewing it as more than just a pastime. Interestingly, this hobby is also shared by David Beckham, though that’s a different story.
While this shared interest might not lead the British royals to tune in to the show, as per a source close to the family as reported by Vanity Fair, ‘The king is quite well-versed in beekeeping. Moreover, he is too occupied to spare time watching it.’
