Last Wednesday, a distressing event unfolded in a home in Urmond, Limburg when fireworks were maliciously thrown through the mailbox in an attempt to intimidate residents and their pets.

Late in the night, the explosives were hurled inside, causing injuries to both the dog and its owner, according to a report by 1Limburg. Thankfully, the two children present in the house escaped unscathed.
The authorities at Westelijke Mijnstreek are treating the situation with utmost seriousness and are urging any witnesses to step forward. As of now, there is scant information available about the possible perpetrator.
