Pets bring daily happiness to millions of people all over the world. That’s why it can be so painful when stories emerge of animals being abandoned, or worse.
What happened last night in Deil, in the province of Gelderland, is an excellent – and very sad – example of this.
Car stops to abandon rabbit
A walker out with their dog saw it happen: a car briefly stopped, after which a child dumped a rabbit on the street.
Help was called, and soon after, the Animal Ambulance Tiel arrived. They undoubtedly experience a lot, but this particular case still led to disbelief.
Incredibly sad…
Many people on Facebook are now speculating how such a thing could happen. Many people wonder if the parents wanted to teach their child a sadistic lesson because he/she did not take good care of the animal.
