Preparing for a new chapter in her entrepreneurial journey, Meghan Markle takes a moment to look back on the path that led her to this point. In the second edition of her As Ever newsletter, she unveils the unexpected inspirations behind the products in the brand’s inaugural collection, set to debut this spring – with one of them tracing back to her time in England.
The debut product line from As Ever will showcase a variety of kitchen essentials, from her signature jam to a selection of different teas. Meghan expressed in the newsletter, ‘With As Ever, I welcome you into the feeling of my home and invite you to experience this joy in your home as well.’

Reminiscing about her time in the United Kingdom following her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan reflected on The As Ever box mix for ‘crispy and delicious shortbread cookies,’ which she described as a reminder of her time in England, complete with delicate flowers to enhance each delightful bite.
Just before their 2018 wedding, Meghan and Harry resided in Nottingham Cottage on the Kensington Palace grounds. Subsequently, they moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where they raised their son, Archie, born in 2019.
In the following year, Meghan and Harry disclosed their intention to step back from their roles as senior royals. Eventually, they settled in Montecito, a coastal town in California located north of Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles.
Reflecting on various life memories that influenced other As Ever products, Meghan shared, ‘Hibiscus tea that reminds me of the sun tea I made in my youth, steeping a tea bag in a glass jar with water and watching it change color as it brewed under the sun’s warmth.’
She added, ‘Crepemix inspired by my time in France as a student, savoring the thin texture and delicate flavor, bringing a piece of that experience back to my student apartment at the time, and now to my family home.’
Regarding her renowned and long-awaited jam, Meghan mentioned refining her recipe over the years: ‘My cherished fruit spreads have been perfected through recipe trials, filling the house with a sweet fragrance; the kind of scent that prompts you to pause, close your eyes, and inhale deeply – a scent that whispers ‘Welcome home.’
