
For a long time, 10-year-old Kayleigh Rogers struggled with extreme shyness due to her autism and ADHD.
Conversations were a challenge for Kayleigh and speaking in front of a group seemed impossible until she joined Killard House School in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland.
Despite her difficulties, Kayleigh found solace in singing, using it as a way to cope with her conditions. Her music teacher, Lloyd Scates, recognized her talent and helped her build confidence.
Kayleigh’s mother Tracy praised Mr. Scates, calling him a “guardian angel” for guiding her daughter’s musical journey.
During a Christmas show at school, Kayleigh stunned the audience by performing Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ solo. Her mesmerizing voice and unwavering confidence moved everyone present.
