Yesterday, there was news about a Persian cat discovered in a box at a garbage dump. The cat was found completely dirty and had not eaten for a long time.
The Amsterdam Animal Ambulance provided care to the cat, ensuring it received food after being found.
Following a health check at the animal hospital, the cat was transferred to the Animal Shelter Amsterdam. The shelter has reported a large demand for this cat, with people lining up to offer help.
Fresh and Clean Transformation
Recent photos display a remarkable transformation in the cat’s appearance. The once dirty fur, soiled with urine and feces, has been carefully shaved off. The cat now enjoys a plentiful food supply and a cozy bed.

Heartfelt Message from the Cat?
A touching message shared on Facebook from the shelter hints at the cat’s sense of humor…
“I hear that many are inquiring about me, which is incredibly kind❤️. However, I’m not ready to leave yet, and reservations aren’t possible here. I need to complete a 14-day quarantine first to continue recovering. In addition, a certain procedure involving my ‘balls’ awaits me (not my favorite topic?). So, I won’t be available for adoption just yet. Nevertheless, there are plenty of other lovable cats here for you to meet! ?”
Patiently waiting, it appears this Persian cat is on track for a bright future filled with care and love! The journey has already begun on a positive note.
Kudos to the Animal Shelter Amsterdam and the Animal Ambulance for their exceptional dedication!
