Pregnant for Three Years and Seven Months: The Unbelievable Tale of the Steadfast Woman

Pregnancies are enchanting. The idea that a completely new life is created in a woman’s womb within nine months is as miraculous as it is beautiful.

That sometimes the period seems to last an eternity, especially in the beginning when things get tough, is something many women can relate to. However, time ultimately flies by quickly.

Zona, a 40-year-old woman who visited Dr. Phil, claims she has been pregnant for three years and seven months. Non-stop!

The woman came on Dr. Phil’s show to talk about her extremely long pregnancy. However, despite the countless pregnancy tests she has taken, it turns out she is not pregnant at all.

Sterilized woman doesn’t believe doctors

Furthermore, she underwent sterilization twenty years ago, making it even more unlikely. Additional tests by medical staff also indicate that there is no baby in her belly.

Yet the woman is “one thousand percent” sure that she is pregnant. According to her, her belly is slowly growing, her breasts are sensitive, and she experiences mood swings.

The expert brought in by Dr. Phil to clarify to Zona once and for all that it’s really not the case is not believed. The same goes for medical explanations for her growing belly, such as diabetes.

Pseudocyesis?

Oddly enough, another woman has been a guest with a similar story. She is also convinced she is pregnant, despite various tests showing otherwise.

And as you can imagine, she is very firm in her conviction. One might wonder if these women need a different kind of help.
