Two years ago, on a typical fall day, Miley, a Dalmatian, experienced motherhood for the first time, much to the delight of her owners, Matt and Cecilia.
The family eagerly anticipated the arrival of their beloved pet’s offspring. At the vet’s ultrasound appointment, they were informed of three puppies in Miley’s belly.
Yet, when the time for birthing arrived, Matt and Celia were in for a major surprise…
As the female dog delivered three puppies, Matt realized it was far from over.
Puppy after puppy emerged from Miley, ultimately totaling 16 born that day. The vet, anticipating only three, was clearly mistaken.
But that’s not all.
After a laborious 14 hours, two more adorable puppies made their entrance!
In the end, Miley gave birth to a remarkable 18 puppies, setting a record in Australia, where the family resides! Her story is now being likened to the beloved Disney tale “101 Dalmatians.”
