Almost a year ago, Meghan Markle announced her brand new label, American Riviera Orchard, and since then fans have been eagerly waiting for the products to be released. Even though quite some time has passed, Meghan has now changed her mind about the brand’s name – this is what she shared and what the new name will be.
Meghan Markle Suddenly Changes the Name of Her Brand
In a video shared by Meghan on Instagram, we first hear Prince Harry saying, ‘It’s recording‘, followed by Meghan stating, ‘The cat is out of the bag. I’m shocked we managed to keep this a secret for so long. In two weeks, my series will be released, which I am looking forward to. And also my company, which I believe many have been curious about. Last year, I thought: “American Riviera, that sounds like a great name.” It’s my neighborhood; it’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things produced and grown in this area.’
Hand in hand with Netflix
Meghan continued, ‘Then came Netflix, not only as my partner in the series, but also as my partner in my company. That was huge. So I thought about it and I was waiting for a moment to share a name that I had registered back in 2022, and this is the moment, it’s called As Ever.’
This new name also relates to the lifestyle blog she used to have, The Tig. ‘As Ever basically means as it always has been, and if you’ve been following me since 2014 through The Tig, you know I have always loved cooking, crafting, and gardening – this is what I do. And I haven’t been able to share it with you the same way over the past few years, but now I can again, so as things start to leak out, I wanted you to hear it from me first.’
She concluded by saying, ‘Of course, there will be jams; I think at this point we all know jam is my thing. But there are so many other products I love, and now is the time to share them with you. So I can’t wait for you to see it. Thank you, guys!’
