The little pink animal was in great pain when they found him.
But wait until you see his amazing transformation.
Last year, a poor dog was found in a cemetery in St. Louis, USA.
The dog had been abandoned and had severely inflamed skin, causing him to have no fur.
On the tombstone where the dog was found, the name Kamper was written, which also led the animal rescuers from “Stray Rescue of St. Louis (SRSL)” to name him that.

The animal rescuers immediately understood that Kamper needed urgent help and decided to care for him.
“He came in so neglected, so invisible, so agonizing, and so sad,” SRSL wrote in a Facebook post.
The treatment was effective
Kamper was in severe pain, but as soon as his treatment began, he brightened up completely.
He received special medicinal baths daily to prevent his skin from cracking and getting more inflamed. He also had to wear pajamas, which he loved. In addition, he was given nourishing food, which he may have never had before.
“He had to wear pajamas to prevent his skin from peeling and bleeding in the foster home,” SRSL wrote, “but he loved his pajamas.”
The treatment took time but produced good results. Soon, Kamper’s black fur began to grow back, and the wrinkled pink skin disappeared.

A new family
While Kamper recovered, the search for a new, loving home for him began. And eventually, a family showed up that immediately fell in love with the cute dog.
On October 30 this year, Kamper was finally able to move in with his new family. There, he will lead a happy life for the rest of his days.
And Kamper’s savior from the animal shelter is happier than ever that Kamper is doing well.
What an inspiring story! Although the poor dog had a difficult start he found a group of people who gave him a second chance and will make him forget his suffering and sorrow.
