It’s incredible how dogs can develop friendships with other dogs. Many dog owners witness the special connection their dogs form with neighboring dogs.
Two affectionate dogs named Messy and Audi, who live across from each other in Thailand, share a unique bond. When Audi is left alone at home while his owners are at work, he sometimes struggles. Knowing that her dog can uplift Audi’s spirits, Messy’s owner, Oranit Kittragul, encourages Messy to comfort Audi.
Oranit shared with The Dodo, “When he is feeling lonely and howling, I always ask my dog to go check on him and talk to him. My dog just looks over the fence and sometimes barks at [Audi]. I don’t know what they’re communicating, but Audi stops crying.”
Over time, the two dogs developed a close relationship, with Messy consistently boosting Audi’s mood with his company at the fence. However, one particular encounter was exceptionally heartwarming.
One day, Audi’s owner accidentally left the gate open, and Audi dashed straight towards Messy. Finally, the two pals could embrace each other.
“He ran to my dog, and they hugged each other,” recounted Oranit.
Capturing the tender moment on camera, Oranit realized the depth of care between these two dogs—they had truly forged a bond through their ‘conversations’ and simply wanted to be together.
Oranit posted the photos on social media, where they quickly gained widespread attention. People couldn’t get enough of this heartwarming moment between the two dogs.
“My intention is simply to share a nice photo and story,” she told Today.
She mentioned that despite their newfound fame, the two dogs haven’t had a playdate yet, but she continues to bring her dog to Audi’s house.
What a beautiful friendship! We are delighted that these dogs have each other to turn to in times of loneliness or sadness.
