Reports of Jessica and Cash’s separation surfaced last January when TMZ revealed that they had ‘recently separated’ and were ‘moving forward with their divorce.’ Jessica officially filed for divorce on February 7th, ending their 17-year marriage.

A source informed People that the ex-couple remains ‘friends’ and is solely dedicated to their children. ‘Whatever the circumstances, it seems they will stay close. If they do divorce, it won’t be due to major conflicts. They still seem happy together. Jessica has mentioned how challenging it is to maintain the spark over the years.’
Jessica herself confirmed the rumors on Instagram, stating: ‘I have been on a journey of self-discovery and growth for years – both individually and in my relationship with Cash. I am proud of our progress in our 20-year marriage, and now we embark on a new chapter as individuals. We will move forward with love, kindness, and respect, always remaining a family. Our children are our top priority, and we request privacy during this period.’
