Bindi and Robert Irwin, the children of the late Steve Irwin, both continue their father’s legacy by dedicating themselves to wildlife conservation in Australia.
But the similarities don’t end there… young Robert Irwin recently had a moment reminiscent of his father, not just in looks but also in experiences.
Robert Irwin not only resembles his late father but also follows his path, including in his career choice. In a recent Instagram post, he shared a striking resemblance between himself and his father.
Recently, Robert Irwin posted an old video of his late father getting bitten in the face by a python snake. In a twist of fate, he then shared a video of himself being bitten by the same snake on the eyebrow and nose.
“Déjà vu. Father and I getting bitten by the same snake species (carpet python) decades apart,” wrote Robert in the caption of the video. “I found this python on the side of the road but as you can see, snake rescues don’t always go quite according to plan ?”
Both father and son handled the snake bites bravely. Like his father, Robert calmly managed the situation before treating his injuries. He described the incident in the video: “I got a bit too close so he gave me a chomp. They have extremely sharp teeth, like tiny needles. Watch the video here.
Steve Irwin’s wife, Terri Irwin, along with their children, Robert and Bindi Irwin, continue his conservation work at the Australia Zoo.
Steve Irwin tragically passed away in 2006 at the age of 44 after a stingray incident while filming at the Great Barrier Reef. At the time of his father’s death, Robert Irwin was only 2 years old.
