Driver Robert noticed a kitten and decided to stop. As he approached, the kitten began to move in the grass next to it.
Robert Brantley was driving in the United States when he saw a small four-legged creature in the middle of the road. He stopped his car, and the kitten timidly approached him.
Recording the entire experience with his camera, Robert ventured out to discover what the kitten needed from him.
It turned out to be a stray kitten without a collar.
Picked up the Kitten, and then the “Ambush” Unfolded
On his Instagram, Robert describes the encounter, which has garnered over 900,000 views:
“I was done with work when I spotted a kitten that I felt wouldn’t survive the night. My wife had always wanted a farm cat, so I felt compelled to stop and rescue it,” wrote Robert on his Instagram post.
The video captures Robert gently picking up the kitten, but shortly after, several more kittens emerged from the grass. “My God,” Robert exclaims in the video as he realizes the unexpected surprise.
“I went to record a short video, and then I got ambushed by the mob,” Robert jokingly stated.
As reported by The Dodo, a total of 13 kittens were in desperate need of assistance!
So, what did Robert do next? He brought them home, of course!
Several of the kittens have already found new loving families, and it’s safe to say that Robert will have a house full of these adorable cats this summer!
