A boy was found dead in the water in Georgia, USA.
On Thursday, February 1st, some family members in Chatham County, Georgia (USA), reported that a 19-month-old boy was missing.
Shortly after 12:00, the family members contacted the police, leading to a large search operation.
Found dead in the water
Multiple police units, including dogs, horses, drones, and divers, were involved in the search for the missing boy.
Due to the proximity of the family’s residence to woods and water, the search was deemed urgent.
After about an hour, an officer spotted the boy in the water, as reported by Metro.
No crime suspected at this time
According to reports, the police had to enter the water and retrieve the boy’s lifeless body in an attempt to save him.
Tragically, upon reaching the hospital, it was confirmed that the boy had passed away.
Currently, there are no suspects in relation to any criminal activity, but the investigation is ongoing.
The police believe that the child left the house on his own and unfortunately met with this tragic accident.
