Mother Gives Birth to Deceased Daughter – Husband’s Words in that Moment Will Stay with Her Forever

Warning to sensitive readers.

You can never prepare for the loss of your child.

The sadness and pain when you have to say goodbye to the one you love the most on earth can truly break your heart.

For Whitney Quinton and her partner, it was a nightmare when they had to say goodbye to their long-awaited daughter before she even had a chance to live.

Whitney Quinton had been battling various health problems for years, such as endometriosis and adenomyosis, she writes for Love What Matters.

After her son was born, she experienced a terrible miscarriage, but still dreamed of giving him a sibling one day.

Three years after the miscarriage, she underwent surgery for her endometriosis, and shortly after that she found out she was pregnant again.

The joy was immense and both Whitney and her partner were very excited.

“When we were 21 weeks pregnant, we went for our scan to find out the gender. They told us it was a girl and we were thrilled! However, the scan took longer than usual. They brought in another technician to take more photos and then instructed us to go to the consultation room.”

“I started to panic as we waited and my husband tried to reassure me that everything would be okay. All sorts of thoughts raced through my head, I thought about everything she could have and how scared I was,” she wrote in her post on the site.

‘I fell to my knees and kept screaming’

Soon, the news came that no parent wants to hear.

The doctor came in. She told us that our daughter’s heart was in the wrong place, that she was missing a kidney, that her long bones weren’t growing, and that she had severe abnormalities in her hands and feet. Then she said in very direct terms: “You can end this pregnancy in the next three weeks if you can’t handle this.

Whitney remembers how she screamed after the news.

“I screamed in a way I didn’t even know I could. I fell to my knees and kept screaming. Tears streamed down my face. My husband kept rubbing my back while he too cried.”
