The 20-year-old Caitlin Faulder should have celebrated her daughter’s first Christmas Eve this year. But instead, she was found dead in her home after a suspected heart attack, reports the Mirror.
According to the newspaper, the young mother from Hull, UK, had already bought Christmas presents for her 5-month-old baby.
She lived with her daughter Poppy at her parents’ house. She was found dead in bed on November 19.

She likely suffered a heart attack in her sleep.
Her younger sister told the British Mirror about her grief. “She was so young and she left a 5-month-old baby. “Everyone is devastated,” Charlotte Faulder told the newspaper.
She should have had her heart examined
During her pregnancy, Caitlin’s ECG showed abnormalities. However, she was told not to worry.
“She was going to have an echocardiogram when Poppy was six weeks old, but they never called her. When she went to the doctor, everyone just said ‘everything is normal, everything is fine, your blood pressure is fine.’ Saturday night she was perfectly fine – she was dancing and having fun with her daughter,” her sister said.
Charlotte also tells us that her sister was looking forward to Christmas Eve and decorating the tree she had bought.
Her father found her
It was their father who found her in bed. He went into the room to see why Poppy wouldn’t stop crying.
Caitlin’s bedroom is downstairs and my father went downstairs and called out to her “Caitlin, Poppy is crying, wake up.” But she didn’t wake up, he found her dead in bed,” the sister told HullLive, according to the Mirror.

The father called an ambulance and tried to resuscitate his daughter, but unfortunately, it was too late.
Now the family has started a fundraiser to organize the funeral.
