The bond between a dog and its owner is strong and exists through thick and thin.
As a human, you never forget that special bond with your pet. The memories remain long after a pet has passed away. And the same goes in reverse.
James William Warner was only 22 years old when he passed away. His premature death broke the hearts of both friends and family.
James’ mother was devastated when she heard that Will had fallen asleep forever.
“It was like I had an out-of-body experience. I just collapsed. My whole world shattered into a million pieces,” she told Tennessean.
“Every second that I spent with Will was a joy. He was just larger than life, he was just a good boy. He was so personable,” she added.
Dog’s behavior at the funeral
Another one who took James’ death hard was his beloved dog Ace.
Ace and Warner were inseparable and even went to school together. Ace waited in the car and didn’t mind.
“This dog is so special and Will was so proud of him,” she said.
And at the funeral, it became even clearer that Ace and James had a very strong bond.
Ace laid on the grave where his owner was buried and never left the spot during the entire funeral.
James’ mother shared photos of the moment.
Give them lots of love
To help a dog with grief after losing its owner, it’s best to help them stick to their normal routines and comfort them by spending extra time with them. Make sure to give them lots of love, affection, and toys and play their favorite games to improve the grieving process.
So beautiful and sad at the same time. Feel free to share the article and spread the story of the amazing Ace and James.
