Transformation Twins: Best Friends Surgically Makeover to Look Like Twins – 6 Years Later, Unrecognizable

For best friends Sophia and Julia, simply being friends and sharing clothes wasn’t enough. They wanted to mirror each other completely.

The journey began with matching hair colors and outfits. Today, six years later, their transformation has left them unrecognizable.

Julia and Sophia, childhood friends from Stockholm, first met at the age of six.

As their bond strengthened, they decided to synchronize their appearances, dressing identically from head to toe.

β€œWe used to inquire about each other’s outfits every morning, sparking occasional debates,” they reveal to Truly.

Overcame shyness and insecurity

Initially, both girls grappled with shyness and self-doubt.

β€œIt’s unbelievable. We were so frail, so lacking in self-assurance. It’s hard to believe,” they reflect upon old photos.

However, they decided to transform by dyeing their hair black, intensifying their workout routines to five or six times a week, and revamping their overall looks.

Underwent cosmetic procedures

At eighteen, the duo embarked on cosmetic enhancements.

β€œI’ve always been self-conscious about my lips,” confesses Julia.

Following their synchronized pattern, Sophia too opted for fillers. Subsequently, they underwent filler injections in various facial areas to alter their features.

Complete transformation to unrecognizability

Presently, just a few years post-transformation, they are indistinguishable.

With time, their similarities have flourished, leading them to view themselves as sistersβ€”not by blood, but in appearance.

β€œIf we deviate from our matchy-matchy style and wear different outfits, people speculate about discord or issues between us,” they disclose to Truly.

Although their new look hasn’t received approval from their parents and garners negative feedback online, Sophia and Julia remain unfazed.

β€œBut this is our life, and being over 18, I have the autonomy to make choices,” asserts Julia.

Their aspirations include relocating from Sweden to Los Angeles, where they aim to establish a nutrition and fitness venture.
