During a recent ordeal where Guillermina was stuck in traffic with her four children for 45 minutes, her baby started crying signaling her hunger.

Like any caring mother would, Guillermina found a safe spot in a parking lot to breastfeed her hungry child in the backseat of her car. However, her act of care was interrupted when she noticed a police officer and a tow truck nearby.

Guillermina tearfully pleaded with the officer as her baby cried, expressing her need to briefly park to tend to her child’s needs and breastfeed her. She told ABC13.

Disregarding her plea, the officer issued her a ticket and walked away.

Now, the 30-year-old mother is seeking empathy and intends to contest the ticket, urging others to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding.

Every mother can empathize with Guillermina’s situation, and the officer should have shown more understanding.
