When asked if the breakup impacted her feelings about her directorial debut, Zoë expressed, ‘Not at all. I love this work that we made together, and I care a lot about him.’

She added, ‘Even just talking about how great his performance is, that feels good to hear, and I’m so glad that it all happened. I’m just so grateful that we got to take that journey together.’

Zoë also praised Channing, highlighting that he ‘has a lot to offer’ in terms of talent, and she is eagerly looking forward to more people recognizing his capabilities.

‘He has so much more in store, and I think he’s at a point as an actor where he feels really confident, and people are seeing different sides of him,’ Zoë added.

For those who may have missed it, the couple had been together since August 2021, publicly showing affection for each other in interviews starting February 2022. Their engagement occurred in October 2023, but as reported by People, they decided to call it off a year later due to realizing they were at different stages in life.
