The Queen’s Scarf Knot Trick: A Runway Hit This Season

Queen Elizabeth was renowned for her fondness for headscarves, often securing them with a knot under her chin to protect her hair. While her sister Princess Margaret also embraced this style on occasion, it didn’t quite carry on to the following generations of the royal family. (Kate Middleton occasionally wears a scarf but typically not to cover her head unless for religious or modest reasons.) Nonetheless, on runways from London to Milan this season, headscarves are taking center stage.
