When you really think about it, you’re placing your safety in the hands of a stranger to transport you safely from one point to another, on time and unharmed. In the majority of cases, that trust is well-placed.
However, drivers also have expectations from passengers. They expect passengers to remain calm, polite, and not endanger their own lives or the lives of others. Unfortunately, unforeseen events can sometimes occur…
A bus driver saved the life of a 5-year-old boy after realizing something was amiss on the route.
Several young children were on the bus, enjoying themselves as young children do. The driver occasionally checked on them to ensure their behavior was in check.
Suddenly, the female driver heard a sound she will never forget. A child cried out that another child was choking.
Initially fearful, the driver was unsure how to react. Fortunately, her fear transformed into action, and she swiftly went to aid the child.
Guardian Angel
Footage from the bus camera reveals how the driver promptly stopped and hurried to the boy who was choking on a coin. Without her quick intervention, the boy could have lost his life.
The young boy was fortunate that the driver knew how to respond in such a critical situation!
