Heroic Police Dog Stops Burglar Despite Head Injuries – Celebrated as a Hero

Dogs are known as humanity’s best friends and protectors.

Kaiser, a police dog in Croydon, England, recently returned to work after surviving a vicious knife attack two months earlier, reports the British Metro.

Police officers worldwide often have loyal four-legged companions who help them in their daily work.

In Croydon, England, the police force eagerly welcomed back their brave canine colleague, Kaiser, after a harrowing incident.

During a police operation in June, Kaiser was attacked while chasing a suspect at an address in Kent.

The suspect stabbed Kaiser multiple times in the head, perilously close to one of his eyes, but the resilient dog managed to detain the suspect until his human colleagues arrived.

Following the arrest, Kaiser received prompt medical attention and was deemed to be on the path to recovery.

Returned to Duty

Kaiser’s fellow officers described him as having a guardian angel watching over him during the horrific attack, highlighting his incredible resilience.

Now, over two months later, Kaiser has joyfully returned to work, greeted with applause from his eager colleagues who missed him dearly.

“After the June stabbing incident, PD Kaiser and his handler PC Woolcott were warmly welcomed back by Superintendent Dave Stringer and the Mayor and Alderman of Bromley,” the police department shared.

“Kaiser, hailed for his bravery, was delighted with a new toy gifted by the Mayor.”

Kaiser, you are a true hero! Wishing you continued success and safety in your duties!
