The distressing incident occurred in Poland, where a babysitter placed a 2-year-old child inside a washing machine instead of providing proper care.
The footage shows the babysitter placing the child inside the washing machine.
After closing and reopening the door briefly, the child begins crying, to which the babysitter reacts with laughter at his disturbing ‘prank’.
The heart-wrenching scene shows the child pressing their hand against the washing machine’s window, while the babysitter continues to find it amusing.
The Mirror, a British newspaper, reported that the child was unharmed but mentioned a disturbing photo showing the child with a cigarette in their mouth.
The 21-year-old mother of the toddler explained that she had to leave her child in the babysitter’s care while both parents were at work.
Subsequently, the babysitter and another teenager, who allegedly shared the video, were arrested following public outrage.
