Leaving children at daycare can be challenging. It’s tough to be apart from our little ones all day, and kids may not always enjoy it either.
However, most parents have to work during the day, making daycare a necessary option to ensure the well-being of our children when we’re unavailable.
Typically, daycare workers have good intentions, with 99.999 percent caring for children diligently. Unfortunately, this story reveals the rare 0.001 percent of cases with a disturbing outcome.
Recently, a shocking incident occurred at a daycare in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Luckily, a security camera installed just 30 minutes before the incident captured the unsettling event.
An employee, Sarah Gable, aged 52, was seen pushing a four-year-old girl down the stairs while walking with her at the daycare.
Upon noticing the newly installed camera, Gable hastened to guide the girl down the rest of the stairs.
The daycare manager, who was monitoring the security feed at the time, acted promptly.
She alerted the police, rushed down the stairs, fired Gable on the spot, and ensured the authorities took action by arresting her.
Fortunately, the girl escaped with minor injuries, mainly a bleeding knee, and was able to return to daycare the following day.
Gable’s lawyer chose not to comment on the incident but expressed relief that the girl’s injuries were not severe.
Following the incident, Gable faced charges of assault and endangering a child’s welfare, with bail set at $25,000.

The appalling mistreatment of an innocent child is deeply distressing.
It’s crucial to ensure individuals like Gable are never allowed to work with children again. Share if you agree!
