Peabody, a foal, is unique in several ways.
But since his birth, he has faced challenges. Due to his small size, he was rejected by his mother, leaving him alone.
Fortunately, a compassionate animal lover opened their heart and provided Peabody with a new home.
Their story has touched numerous animal lovers worldwide, showcasing their immense zest for life.
Despite being smaller than most dogs, this little foal has a captivating charm that wins hearts.
At six weeks old, he weighs only 9 kilos.
Looking at this tiny foal, it’s hard to believe his beginnings were not smooth.
Mother rejected him
Peabody was too small to suckle milk from his mother, leading to her rejection.
His previous owner contemplated euthanizing the fragile foal.
Thankfully, a friend of the owner intervened.
Peabody struggled to walk, had jawbone wounds, and was suspected to be blind and deaf.
Despite the challenges, Faith, his guardian angel, was determined to save him.
Welcomed with open heart
After reaching an agreement with the horse’s owner, Faith drove for hours to transport Peabody in her truck.
Under Faith’s care, the once struggling foal now enjoys a life of luxury.
Peabody is accustomed to indoor living and delights in lounging on the sofa for cuddles.
“Horses aren’t typically kept indoors, but Peabody’s small size isn’t suited for the outdoors,” she shared with the newspaper Metro.
“Now, he resides indoors alongside the dogs.”
“He has found a forever home,” Faith proudly stated.
The dogs in Peabody’s new home have formed a strong bond with him. Faith mentions they engage in playful activities and cherish each other’s companionship.
Such a heartwarming tale! Peabody is fortunate to have found a new loving home with Faith. Wishing you all the best, buddy!
