Jannet was tending to her garden when she made a surprising discovery.
Picture this – a beautiful summer day in your garden, everything just perfect.
But then, near the bird food, something catches your eye, something unexpected.
That’s exactly what happened to Jannet Talbott in the summer of 2018.
She spotted an unfamiliar creature, which on closer inspection turned out to be a squirrel. However, this squirrel seemed to be in distress.
There was something protruding from its mouth, alerting Jannet that all was not well.
This poor squirrel had a massive tooth that was continuously growing, making it impossible for the squirrel to open its mouth.
Determined to help the tiny creature, Jannet sprang into action.
Jannet, a devoted animal lover residing in Alberta, went above and beyond for this little wild animal. Take a look at this image of her with an adorable dog.
She embarked on a mission to figure out how to deal with the oversized tooth and discovered her hidden talent as an amateur dentist.
Just look at that poor creature! It’s hard to imagine the challenges this squirrel faced with such a massive and bothersome tooth. How does one even eat with a tooth that extends up to the eye? Quite distressing!

“I have a deep bond with animals, and I believe it’s my responsibility to advocate for them,” Jannet shared with Little Things.
