Established in 2002, Animal Aid Unlimited (AAU) is an animal rights group located in Udaipur, India. The organization focuses on rescuing and providing medical care to sick and injured animals.
During a distress call reporting a paralyzed stray dog amidst garbage, AAU rushed to the scene to intervene.
Upon arrival, the AAU team was shocked by the dog’s dismal state.
The dog was found unable to move in the sweltering heat, with its paws tied together, prompting an immediate transfer to a veterinarian for urgent care.
Despite showing signs of fear, the vet discovered no visible injuries on the dog but observed him trembling.
Thankfully, it was determined that the dog was not completely paralyzed as he still had sensation in his legs, offering hope for recovery.
Early Challenges
Initially named Comfy due to his seemingly cheerful nature, the dog’s disposition changed suddenly as he started displaying fear and aggression towards people.
However, with time and months of physical therapy, Comfy gradually regained mobility and a better temperament.
After five months of rigorous recovery efforts, Comfy was able to move around independently.
Witness Comfy’s remarkable transformation in the video below.
Truly inspiring work by the team at Animal Aid Unlimited. We send our best wishes to Comfy for a bright future ahead!
