Enchanting Beauty: Young Woman Wows Judges with Violin and Angelic Voice

America’s Got Talent, one of the world’s most popular talent shows, recently showcased a familiar face for Eurovision fans. Gabriella Laberge, a French-Canadian singer and violinist who took part in the 2019 edition of Destination Eurovision in France, delivered a mesmerizing performance that captivated both the audience and the judges.

Prior to her appearance on the AGT stage, Gabriella expressed her aspirations in a pre-performance video. “This is the opportunity of a lifetime,” she expressed, “to follow my biggest dream, which is to create music for the rest of my days.”

The Quebec-native artist then graced the stage with her violin and initiated her audition with a graceful solo act.

While judges Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum were visibly captivated by her playing, Simon Cowell appeared less engaged. With his hand poised over the red buzzer, indicating his readiness to buzz her performance, Gabriella had a surprise in store.

Transitioning from playing to singing, Gabriella began with a soulful rendition of James Blunt’s “Goodbye My Lover.” Her angelic voice immediately drew Cowell’s attention, leading him to retract his hand from the buzzer.

The performance earned her a standing ovation from both the judges and the audience, with Cowell himself joining in the applause. The judges unanimously agreed to advance her to the next stage of the competition.

However, Gabriella’s AGT journey is far from over. Her audition aired during the final round of auditions for the season, in episode eight.

With over 150 acts receiving “yes” votes throughout the season, only 36 can move on to the live shows. Fans will have to wait until the series resumes after a three-week hiatus to discover if Gabriella secured a spot in the finals.

Gabriella’s television debut dates back to 2019 when she competed in the second season of Destination Eurovision in France. Her song, “On cherche encore (Never Get Enough),” garnered significant support from fans.

Despite her popularity, she was eliminated during the semi-finals. The competition was ultimately won by Bilal Hassani with the song “Roi.”

Gabriella Laberge’s AGT audition signifies a new chapter in her professional journey. By showcasing her talent to a global audience, she reignites enthusiasm among her Eurovision supporters.

Regardless of whether she progresses to the live shows, her touching performance has already left a lasting impact on both viewers and judges.
