“Everyone adored her. Her name was Magui, and she has just passed away. Being old, she was fearful of fireworks. When people were celebrating nearby, she became overwhelmed with fear and suffered a panic attack. Despite our urgent call to the vet, no assistance arrived in time. Our dog was held in our son’s arms,” Antonella shared on Facebook.

Beloved Family Member Lost
An animal welfare organization shared the post on Facebook to shed light on animals’ fears and anxieties.
“Your festivities led to my dog’s panic attack. Your joy became her demise. Magui passed away cradled in her owner’s arms, leaving her family with a void,” expressed her family on social media.
Concerns Towards Veterinarians
Subsequent to the heartbreaking event, many voiced their disappointment that veterinarians failed to respond when the family sought urgent help.
There is widespread sorrow over animals losing their lives due to human desire for entertainment.
“Perhaps those fireworks were acquired illicitly. Such a plight for the dog and its owner. Animal lovers everywhere share in their anguish,” one commenter remarked.
