Caring for your health is important, whether you are young or old.
Forced to swim in the pool
The boy lives in a village with his parents, but due to his weight, his health is at risk.

At 9 years old, he already suffered from obesity and by the age of 11, he reached 191 kilograms. That is what The Sun reports.
Because of his weight, it was impossible for him to perform certain household chores at home, especially when he needed a shower.
He couldn’t even get into the bathroom because of his weight, so he had to wash himself in the pool.
Even though he went to school, it was difficult for Arya to maintain friendships because he had to sit down after just a few steps.
Eventually, his family decided it was high time for a change.

Forced surgery
Eventually, the parents decided they needed to seek help. But when they took their son to the doctor, they received a harsh message: Arya HAD to lose weight, or his heart would stop working.
Despite Arya’s protests, his diet was changed.
Instead of eating 5 fast food meals a day, he now eats 3 times a day and mostly very healthy meals.

Despite the new, strict diet, Arya didn’t lose a single kilo. The doctors then made a drastic choice. They would operate on the boy to stop his life-threatening obesity.
The operation came with many risks, but they felt they had no other choice. The whole procedure lasted hours and no one knew if the boy would make it. Ultimately, the doctors gave the liberating message:
“Arya made it.”
However, there was still a long road to recovery before everything would return to normal. Arya had to continue following the strict diet and exercise so that the operation would be successful.
Lost 105 kilos in 3 years
It has been 3 years since Arya lost 105 kilograms!
Today, his daily life looks completely different from what it was.
Every day he walks 3 kilometers, plays basketball, and other sports.
Like any other child, he can climb trees and ride bikes with other kids.
He also had the chance to return to school for a short period before they would close due to the pandemic, but even a brief period of going to school meant everything to Arya.
Arya no longer had to take breaks to hang out with his classmates.
“In 2015, I never thought this was possible and that I could lose weight. Now everything just feels a lot better, so different,” he says.
“In 2015 and 2016, I fell asleep around 4 AM and woke up around 3 PM. I only ate instant noodles and sugary drinks. Now I rarely eat rice. My plan now is to lose weight with this new diet and exercise a lot.”
