Tom Hanks Hits by COVID-19, Furious at Rule Breakers: ‘You Should Be Ashamed!’
Thousands of people from all over the world have lost their lives to the coronavirus.
Young and old have lost a dear family member, friend, colleague, or partner.
One of the people affected by the virus is Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson.
But now Tom Hanks voices his dissatisfaction to Americans who disregard the rules.
For months, life has changed in many ways.
The freedom we have gradually regained now seems obvious. Not being able to see your family, loved ones, and elderly family members who live far away is heartbreaking.
But so far, the coronavirus pandemic is not over, and every day we are told that there are still many people losing the battle against the coronavirus.
One of the people who fell ill is the world-famous actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita.
They were told they had contracted the virus in March, after which they were placed in quarantine. They have since fully recovered from the virus.

“We are fine. We had about 10 days with very unpleasant symptoms. They weren’t life-threatening, fortunately. We were isolated to monitor ourselves for fever or respiratory problems,” Hanks told People.
The Hollywood Star’s Message
But now that some time has passed since recovery, Tom Hanks has directed harsh criticism at Americans who cannot adhere to restrictions.
“There are actually only three things we can do to reduce the virus: wear a mask, social distance, and wash your hands. Simple things, very simple things. If you can’t do these three basic things, then I say: you should be ashamed!” he told People.

A Call for Simple Actions
Having had the virus himself, he doesn’t understand why more people aren’t helping to stop the infection.
“Do your part, it’s straightforward. When you drive a car, you don’t speed, you use your turn signals, and you don’t run over pedestrians. My god, common sense, right?”
