In a heartbreaking turn of events, despite rescue efforts, the baby swan succumbed to her injuries. The public is calling for justice and urging authorities to apprehend the perpetrator.
Reports from swan protection services reveal that a jogger in Richmond Park callously attacked the defenseless swan by kicking it when it crossed his path, resulting in fatal injuries.
Fortunately, a witness intervened, rescued the swan, and promptly alerted park wardens.
Despite receiving urgent medical attention, the baby swan’s injuries proved fatal.
“We are doing everything we can, but it doesn’t look good,” the park wardens shared on Facebook.
Subsequently, it was confirmed that the baby swan had passed away.
Witnesses have reported seeing the same jogger attacking another swan, though this time the bird managed to evade further harm by fleeing into the water.
It’s evident that this individual poses a threat to animals and must be apprehended swiftly to prevent further harm. Authorities are seeking information from the public regarding this incident.
The description of the suspect provided by authorities is limited to him being bald and wearing a logo-emblazoned T-shirt.
