Not all heroes wear capes.
Just ask at the police station in Llanfair, Wales. There, a new colleague, Max, a police dog, recently started.
As a police dog, he is always accompanied by his handler, Peter Lloyd. The two had gone for a walk in February, on Max’s first day at work, looking for a missing woman and her children.
BBC reports that there had been no sign of the woman and her children for two days.
The police told BBC that they found the woman’s car on a road with lots of rocks. From there, they started the search, and on Max’s first ‘working day,’ they found the woman and child with the help of a helicopter. Both were very cold, but otherwise okay.
The police chief told BBC that he was impressed by police dog Max and his handler, Peter, because on the first day of work, they were able to locate the missing individuals.
Applause for this dog, right? Be sure to share this story, as it proves once again that dogs are the best creatures!
