Abandoned: Family Dumps 'Disgusting' Dog After Losing Leg in Car Accident

As per Sidewalk Specials, the dog rescue organization, Squirrel, the three-legged canine, arrived after the accident.

Despite surviving the ordeal, the dog had to adapt to life with three legs. Remarkably, she quickly mastered walking and regaining mobility, even engaging in play with other dogs.

She was all set to be reunited with her family… until they callously deemed her “disgusting.” They were concerned that their three-legged pet might frighten their children.

The family heartlessly deserted their pet due to her altered appearance, abandoning the devastated dog after her traumatic experience.

Nevertheless, the organization opted to put her up for adoption in hopes that someone would treasure her despite her three legs.

“Squirrel is a petite dog, barely a year old, who gets along well with other animals and children, and is recovering splendidly,” they remarked.

Astonishingly, 128 potential families showed interest in adopting the dog, and she eventually found her ideal home.

Renamed “Squash,” she embarked on a new chapter in her life. Her new family embraced her just as she is, taking her to the park where she revels in running and playing with other dogs.

Moreover, the family’s young boy swiftly established a special bond with their new pet.
