Most of us feel anger when we learn about people callously abandoning their dogs in shelters or even on the streets. Sadly, this is a common occurrence worldwide.
In 2018, Andrei Matei experienced this firsthand while driving home with his girlfriend. On a bustling road, he spotted movement and upon closer inspection, found three small puppies wandering around. This story was documented by The Dodo.
Thankfully, Andrei knew exactly what to do.
Andrei crossed the road, picked up one puppy, and then noticed two more a bit further down the road.
He swiftly got out of the car, approached the remaining puppies, and managed to earn their trust, safely placing them in his vehicle.
Look at the happiness and relief on their faces!
However, realizing these puppies were alone without a parent, Andrei knew he had to care for them. Despite searching for the owner to no avail, he provided them with food, warmth, and affection at home. Seeking advice from a friend, he was directed to contact Aura Vasile, a shelter manager, for assistance.
The puppies required treatment for lice and larvae infestations.
Within a week, Aura successfully found a new owner for these adorable pups!
