Abused Dog becomes Hero after saving 3-year-old girl’s life

After being rescued from an abusive owner, Peanut the dog was found in a shocking condition.

She had two broken legs, ingested carpet, and suffered from broken ribs. The Delta Animal Shelter in Michigan reported that these injuries were inflicted repeatedly.

Her previous owner faced charges of animal cruelty, and Peanut received the care she needed until she regained her health.

Fortunately, a loving home was found for her, and today she is celebrated as a hero for saving two lives. This showcases the importance of respecting our four-legged companions.

Three years ago, Peanut’s new owners wrote a letter to the animal shelter where they adopted her, detailing the heroic deeds Peanut had accomplished.
