Beat the Heat: Refresh Your Bedroom in Seconds with This Unknown Trick!

Summer is fantastic and certainly has a lot more to offer than winter. But not everything about summer is perfect and fun.

What about a hot bedroom that makes it impossible to sleep?

After a long and dark winter, everyone is happy to welcome summer with open arms. I think we can all agree on that.

No more layers of clothing, frozen car locks, and short, dark days.

Where we live, we are not really spoiled with long periods of sunny temperatures, so it’s essential to make the most of it while we can!

But hey, the Dutch and Belgians always have something to complain about. Like it’s too hot to sleep, for instance.

It’s a problem, sleeping in a sweltering room during the summer. It can really affect your sleep quality.

To fully enjoy summer, you really need to be able to get up early.

So, I wanted to share some tricks with you to keep your bedroom nice and fresh!

Freeze the Sheets

This won’t keep you cool all night, but it’s at least good for falling asleep feeling fresh.

Just take your bedding and put it in a plastic bag. Then, place the plastic bag in the freezer.

When it’s time to sleep, take the bag out of the freezer and make your bed as usual.

Ice in Front of Fan

What’s cooler than ice? Bring out your fan and place a bowl of ice in front of it.

The fan will create a lovely cold breeze as it blows over the ice cubes.

Use the Outdoor Air

You can also simply use the outdoor air. Open the windows in different directions to create airflow.

Place a small fan by the window and aim it into the room. The outside air will blow in, keeping it fresh.

Close the Shutters

This is an easy one, but we often forget about it. It’s really effective in maintaining a pleasant room temperature.

Close the shutters when the sun is at its peak, and you will thank yourself later when it’s time to sleep.

Sleep Alone

Couples in love may not like to hear this, but it might be worth sleeping alone if you want a good night’s sleep during the summer.

Body temperature rises when you are close to someone, leading to sweaty bodies and damp sheets.

It really doesn’t have to be more difficult than this. Be sure to share this article with all your friends to keep each other cool during the summer!
