It’s common for children to adore animals. Growing up with a dog often leads to a strong bond, creating a special friendship.
While it’s important to be cautious as even friendly dogs can feel stressed by children, many times, they form deep connections and enjoy endless playtime together. Just like the heartwarming relationship between Charlie and Laura.
Upon Laura’s arrival, Charlie, their family dog, was introduced to his new sister. The parents trained Charlie to assist with tasks like pushing the stroller, changing diapers, and even obeying traffic lights.
However, there was one thing the family didn’t have to teach Charlie – love. As mentioned in a video they shared:
“We taught our dog to play the piano, how to press the button at traffic lights, and how to push our daughter’s cradle. But we never had to teach him how to love our daughter.”
From the moment Charlie laid eyes on Laura, he felt a deep connection and an instinctive need to love and protect her for a lifetime.
There was no need for words – Charlie simply understood.
