Brave Pitbull Saves 5-Year-Old from Neighbor’s Labrador Attack

Pitbulls, like any dog breed, can exhibit aggression if not raised properly. It all boils down to how well a dog is brought up by its owner.

While opinions on pitbulls may vary, the heroic actions of this pitbull are undeniable.

Five-year-old Remayah Hernandez was cycling with her sister when they encountered Tank, the neighbor’s Labrador.

Despite being a dog enthusiast, Remayah’s attempt to approach Tank for a petting session took a terrifying turn.

Tank immediately attacked her, causing facial injuries.

Overwhelmed with fear, Remayah cried for help. Promptly answering her call was not only her mother but also the family’s dog, Trigger the pitbull. Ignoring his training, Trigger leaped over the fence to confront Tank, who had meanwhile injured Remayah.

Animal control eventually seized Tank, leading to his euthanasia. Remayah was taken by ambulance for treatment.

The funds saved for a Disney World trip were redirected towards Remayah’s plastic surgery to repair the damage from the neighbor’s dog.

An online fundraising campaign was launched to ensure Remayah’s Disney World dream was realized, with $1000 raised for her.

Despite the trauma, Remayah expressed immense gratitude towards Trigger, labeling him a “superhero” for his timely intervention.

The neighbor, surprised by the incident, initially defended his dog’s innocence but was reassured of Remayah’s safety. Grateful for her swift recovery, everyone involved breathed a sigh of relief.
