Dogs are beautiful animals who just want a loving owner and a family to give all their love to. Sadly, many dogs live on the streets.
Either they are abandoned by their owner, or they are born that way. In any case, a life on the streets is extremely difficult for these animals. Thankfully, there are animal shelters and organizations that rescue animals and do everything to give them a better life.
That was the case for this woman when she found a dog in a pitiful state while traveling in Costa Rica.
When Tania Cappelluti was on her way to a yoga vacation in Costa Rica and saw a poor stray dog lying by the road, she couldn’t just walk past.
Tania happens to be one of the founders of Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue, an organization dedicated to animal rights. She does everything to care for animals and help them.
When the woman got out of her car, she tried to give the dog some water, but it was too shy and didn’t want to drink the water. The next day, the woman decided to try again.
Tania returned with two other friends, Olivia and Blendan, but this time the dog was in an even worse condition. It whimpered and cried.
The animal was really in a pitiful state, completely covered in ticks and fleas and completely dehydrated.
Tania and her friends gave the dog water and food, but the poor animal still couldn’t stand up.
With the help of some members of the organization, they decided to take the dog to a care center and provide temporary shelter. They named the dog Gaia. The little one is surrounded by other animals while recovering.
All the efforts paid off. Gaia recovered, and eventually she got a home she had longed for. Now she lives with a French owner!

It breaks my heart that animals like Gaia have to go through such things, but it is thanks to these organizations that many animals can be saved. They all deserve our recognition!
