Your wedding day should be one of the happiest days of your life.

However, the bride in this story faced a heartbreaking dilemma when she discovered that her husband was not actually who she thought he was… the night before their wedding day.
Future bride Casey told The Whimn that everything was ready for the big day. Some family members had flown from afar to attend the wedding in Australia. But while she was enjoying a drink the night before her wedding in a hotel room with friends, her world came crashing down.
She received an anonymous message on her phone. “I wouldn’t marry him if I were you.”
‘You and I, this weekend.’
The message included some screenshots of messages that her fiancé had sent to another woman.
“You and I, this weekend,” “I wish my girlfriend was as good as you,” and “I miss you so much” were some of the messages he had sent to this woman.
Casey was completely panicked and not sure how to handle the situation.
Tough choice
She didn’t sleep a wink that night. But by morning, she had made a choice. She would go through with the wedding after all.
As the two stood at the altar, ready to share their vows, Casey made an announcement.
“The wedding will not go ahead,” Casey bravely said.
“Because Alex is not who I thought he was.”
Casey read out every word from the messages he had sent to the other woman. Alex ran out of the church, his best man following him. Casey then celebrated her freedom with all the guests. Without her cheating ex.
But there was a sort of positive ending.
A guest at the wedding shared the story online and said that “everyone really let their hair down.”
Casey is such a brave woman to make this announcement so publicly.
But now she can at least move on with her life with someone who truly deserves her.
